So so sew!

I attend a sewing class every Thursday afternoon which I love! First I made a block of a skirt to fit myself perfectly. Then I bought some lovely material and began making a skirt that will be suitable to wear by the end of March, which I find quite exciting. I have a pale blue material with little girls holding flowers, with a salmon pink yoke. I have over locked, fitted an invisible zip complete with zip guard, applied darts... then removed darts and altered a straight fitting skirt in to an A-line shaped skirt, this is no bodge job! All that is left to do now is to sew front and back together, attach my facing and sew my hem. Then to enter the world of trousers!
